Lakesmere subsidiary wins £10.5m deal

Specialist contractor McMullen Facades has won a £10.5m deal to provide ladding and other external elements for a new development in London.

The firm, part of Lakesmere Group, will provide the vertical envelope for the west block of West block at Tribeca Square in Elephant and Castle.

The system includes bolt-on balconies, brise soleil and aluminium cladding.

The system will be installed in 23 weeks and McMullen will start work in August. The development is expected to be completed by 2016.
