Linford wins contracts worth £46m

The Linford Group has won contracts worth a total of £46 million for building and restoration work across the UK.

It will be the main contractor for several major extra-care housing projects for Syniad, a consortium of housing associations in Wales.

A £6 million development of 56 affordable houses near Flint is awaiting planning permission, while restoration work at Stowe public school in Buckingham has been given the go-ahead.

Meanwhile, new-build work includes projects for the Walsall Housing Group, which involves the construction of general-needs affordable housing over the next four years.
