Lovell to develop £30m housing in Yorkshire

Lovell has agreed a deal with specialist property developer Maple Grove Developments and Craven District Council to lead a £40 million mixed-use development in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

The affordable housing division of Morgan Sindall will develop more than 200 homes as part of the scheme that will also include extending the town’s shopping centre.

Lovell will deliver the housing element, worth £30m, which will include open market, affordable rent and shared ownership properties.

Chief executive of Morgan Sindall Group, Paul Smith said: “Lovell continues to make progress developing its market-leading position in the affordable housing arena with this latest deal, one of a number we have already secured this year. We look forward to working with Maple Grove and Craven District Council to deliver the development.”
