Lovell wins £2.6m Wales affordable housing job

Lovell has won a £2.6 million contract to build affordable homes at Taffs Well, near Cardiff.

The development will create 19 new two and three bedroom houses for sale, including six properties which will be offered for sale through Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s low-cost home ownership scheme, ‘Homestep’.

The first residents will move into the new homes in Spring 2010.

Lovell also work on the first phase of the development – known as Maes Ifor –in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council to create 48 homes for open market sale including 15 for low-cost home ownership.
