MoD seeks contractors for £110m frameworks

The Ministry of Defence had advertised two construction frameworks worth a total of £110m.

The capital works project framework for the South-west, worth £600m to £700m, and the framework for the South-east, worth £300m to £400m, were advertised by the MoD’s property arm, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. The frameworks will span seven years.

For both deals, companies can apply to be either main contractor or subcontractor. Individual construction projects on both frameworks will be worth up to £12m.

Firms should submit an expression of interest by email to by midday on 18 April 2014 for either framework.

Companies interested in being a main contractor need to submit a prequalification questionnaire by 30 April at midday.

Interested subcontractors do not need to complete a PQQ.

An industry day for companies interested in either framework will take place on 9 April 2014 at Tidworth Garrison Theatre in Tidworth, Wiltshire.

Firms needs to register to attend the day by midday on 4 April at and pay a ticket fee.
