Morgan Sindall secures £8m commercial job in Cambridge

Morgan Sindall has clinched an £8.8 million deal to build office development Botanic House in Hills Road, Cambridge.

Work will cover construction of a seven storey office development for developer Pace Investments. Morgan Sindall will deliver 5,000 square metres of commercial office space next to the Botanic Gardens.

This will involve building a concrete frame, with full height glazing on the north elevation and brick panelling on the south elevation.

The firm will work alongside Formation Architects, quantity surveyor Davis Langdon, services engineers Hilson Moran and structural engineers and project managers Bidwells.

Work on site began in March 2011 and is due for completion in June 2012. Occupiers will be able to move in to Botanic House during 2012.
