A Morgan Sindall joint venture has signed an agreement for a £400m redevelopment of Southampton’s Royal Pier Waterfront.

RPW (Southampton), a joint venture between Morgan Sindall Investments Ltd and funders Lucent Group, signed the deal with landowners Southampton City Council, Associated British Ports and The Crown Estate.

The proposed project includes offices, hotels, leisure, shops and housing.

The developers will now submit a planning application for the scheme.
