Morrison and Willmott Dixon share £120m of Rotherham housing work

Morrison Facilities Services and Willmott Dixon have both won contracts covering repair and maintenance work across housing owned by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

Both firms have secured initial 5.5 year contracts - with four possible one year extensions - and will work with the council’s arm’s length management organisation 2010 Rotherham to carry out the repairs from October.

Morrison’s £60.5 million deal, which has four possible one year extensions, will see them provide responsive repairs and voids across Rotherham North, Rotherham South and Wentworth North, as well as planned works, capital works and aids and adaptations across the whole of Rotherham.

Under its £58m contract Willmott Dixon will deliver repairs in the Wentworth South, Wentworth Valley, Rother Valley West and Rother Valley South areas.
