Newham Council seeks firms for £28m housing programme

Newham Council is looking for contractors for its £28m affordable homes new-build programme in east London.

The work is worth between £23m and £28m and lasts two years. The project is divided into eight lots, with values between £1.4m and £7.7m

The deadline for pre qualification questionnaires is 2 May at midday.

Firms registered with Constructionline can supply their membership number and complete supplementary questions; they do not need to complete a full PQQ.

Firms need to ensure their Constructionline profile is up to date and that they are registered for Building – Design & Construct and have annotation value on or above that required for the lots they are applying for.

Change to the profile need to be no later than three days before the deadline for PQQ submissions.

Companies not registered with Constructionline can submit a PQQ to the council through its tender portal NECTR at http://nectr.newham.gov.uk/supplierselfservice/ with the reference OPR/BI/7485/HS.
