ODA tenders two Olympic Park works packages

The Olympic Delivery Authority is inviting contractors to bid for two more packages of work on the Olympic Park in Stratford, east London, including bridge and perimeter fence construction.

One package covers the construction of two single span pedestrian and cycleway bridges across the Lea Navigation River on the western boundary of the Olympic Park.

The scope of the 14 month contract also includes construction of associated parapets, handrails, lighting, and hard and soft landscaping.

The other contract up for grabs covers the construction of eight Operational Screening Areas that are generally located around the perimeter of the Olympic Park, including paving, drainage, lighting and security fencing work.

Five contractors will be shortlisted and invited to tender for each contract. Interested firms have until 4 October to submit pre-qualification questionnaires for either job.
