Refurb and fit-out £300m frameworks rolled out in South-east

Housing authorities across the South-east are seeking contractors to carry out refurbishment and fit-out works on three framework agreements worth up to £100 million each.

The South-east Consortium’s internal and external building works frameworks will cover Kent, Sussex, Essex and London.

Each framework lasts four years and will provide work for up to 35 operators.

They are divided into seven lots covering kitchens and bathrooms, uPVC windows and doors, pitched roofs, flat roofs, electrics, external structural (minor repairs and cyclical decorations) and major refurbishment.

Between five and 10 firms will be invited to tender for each lot. The frameworks come into force on 1 October 2011 and last until the 1 October 2014.
