RSL East Thames advertises £300m new build framework

Registered social landlord East Thames is inviting contractors to bid for a four year framework agreement covering new build work, worth up to £300 million, in east London and Essex.

As many as eight contractors will be signed up across two lots - covering for works under £5m and projects larger than £5m respectively.

The framework, which will run from March 2011, can also be used by local authorities in the area to procure work. It is also open to other housing bodies including Spitalfields, Broxbourne and the North London Muslim housing associations.

As many as 25 firms could be invited to tender for a place on the framework in December.

The deadline for pre-qualification questionnaires is 11 November.
