Sandwell council advertises £300m West Mids highways framework

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting contractors to bid for a £300 million framework covering major highway works within the West Midlands and Telford and Wrekin.

The scope of work for the three year agreement includes highway improvements and work on bridges and structures, together with other transport related off highway construction.

The work will mainly comprise schemes included in the West Midlands Local Transport Plan.

Firms have until 28 January to submit pre-qualification questionnaires, from which three contractors will be invited to tender.
