Thomas Vale wins £4.5m Nuneaton college job

Thomas Vale has won a £4.5 million contract to build a new sixth form building at Etone College in Nuneaton.

As well as constructing the standalone building the contractor will also carry out external works within the school grounds.

The contract was procured under an accelerated procedure due to a restricted time-scale on Learning and Skills Council funding that requires the contract to be executed within 12 months of the funding offer.

The school requires the facility to meet their need for an operational sixth form from September 2010.
