Network Homes picks United Living to lead an estate regeneration scheme

United Living has won a £30m contract with housing association Network Homes to lead an estate regeneration scheme in Hertfordshire.

Existing buildings on the estate will be demolished to make way for 34 new houses and 86 new flats, along with associated infrastructure, landscaping and drainage works.

The final development will consist of 87 homes for affordable and social rent and 50 homes for shared ownership.

United Living also scooped another housing association contract this week with Moat to regenerate Pollards Hill in Merton, Greater London.

The contractor will refurbish more than 400 homes and install around 200 kitchen, bathroom, heating and electrical upgrades. Four blocks compromising 24 apartments will be demolished to make way for around 100 new homes and external recreational and communal spaces.
