Contractors have been invited to bid for a highways maintenance contract with Warwickshire County Council worth up to £300 million.
The contract will run from May 2011 for an initial five year term with possible extensions of up to four further years.
The scope of work provides for some elements of highways maintenance works for Coventry City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and may be used by other local authorities within the West Midlands.
Contractors have until 19 February to submit pre-qualification questionnaires and between five and eight will be shortlisted on 12 April.
The council will be holding supplier briefing days for interested contractors on 27 and 28 January.
