Welsh Water offers up £40m framework

Welsh Water is looking for 24 contractors to carry out £40 million worth of minor civil engineering works over a four-year period.

Dwr Cymru Cyfyngedig - trading as Dwr Cymru Welsh Water – is offering a contract for water and waste water assets including production, distribution and network assets.

The work is split into three lots – in north, South-east and South-west Wales – with up to eight contractors required per lot.

The company says the framework will include minor civil engineering works, planned capital maintenance works, sewer rehabilitation and gravity pipeline work and Traffic Management Act submissions across water and waste water assets.

Individual work packages procured through the framework will range from £10,000 to £250,000.

Receipt of tenders or requests to participate must be made by 24 May.
