West Yorks police advertises £250m PFI to build HQs

The West Yorkshire Police Authority is inviting contractors to bid for a PFI deal, worth up to £250 million, to build and operate two new headquarters in Leeds and Wakefield.

As part of the 27 year contract, a new specialist training facility will also be built and run in Wakefield.

Facilities management to be carried out includes building and grounds maintenance, repairs and lifecycle replacements, pest control, cleaning, security, and landscaping, as well as energy and utilities management.

Contractors have until 24 May to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.

Between three and six firms will be invited to enter competitive dialogue.
