Winners revealed for Scape's £1.1bn regional framework

Scape Group has awarded £1.1bn-worth of contracts as part of its new Regional Construction framework.

A total of 11 contractors have won places on the framework: Ashe Construction, Clegg Construction, Conamar Building Services, Fortem, GF Tomlinson, Jeakins Weir, John Graham Holdings, Lindum Group, Morgan Sindall, RG Carter Building and Seddon Construction.

The new framework replaces the East Midlands Property Alliance (EMPA) framework, which expires this year.

The four-year deal covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Suffolk and Warwickshire, expanding its coverage into the East of England.

There are 11 lots divided into bands by project value. These range from £0-£750k through to an intermediate band of £500k-£2.5m and up to the highest grading of £1m-£5m.

Speaking as the winners were announced, Scape Procure managing director Victoria Brambini said: “The Regional Construction framework builds upon the EMPA framework aiming to generate greater value for money and project success for the public sector across the region.

“By extending the Regional Construction framework’s reach into the East of England, we will be able to provide public sector organisations with access to a framework that not only delivers high-quality and cost-effective services from contractors that have demonstrated the right balance of cost and quality, but crucially also has specific social value objectives.”
