Lendlease to build £200m Nine Elms Versace tower

Lendlease is the preferred contractor to build another luxury development in the Nine Elms area under a deal worth £200m.

The contractor has been chosen by Nine Elms Property, which is the UK subsidiary of Dubai developer Damac International.

Akyon London One will include 450 prime homes, the interiors of which have been designed in partnership with Versace Home. The development will also include office and retail space as well as units classed as affordable housing, which will be spread across two interlinking towers.

Total investment in the scheme to date exceeds £645m.

Lendlease Europe managing director of construction Neil Martin said: “Our strategy of taking a selective approach to bidding is paying off, and is allowing us to focus on prestigious projects such as this one.”
