TIMELAPSE: 60,000 worker-hours at London Waterloo upgrade

Video: Timelapse shows 60,000 worker-hours of work at Network Rail’s Waterloo development.

Work is continuing apace at London Waterloo as Network Rail delivers one of the largest and most complex upgrades in the station’s history.

Network Rail has released a timelapse of the work as platform extensions under construction begin to take shape. The new platforms will create room for longer trains to run to and from Waterloo.

Last month Network Rail released footage of a new footbridge being installed in the station’s concourse.
