Renfrewshire Council to set up £350m framework

Renfrewshire Council is looking to establish a £350 million framework to deliver its community infrastructure programme until 2014.

Work covered by the four year framework agreement includes refurbishment and new build projects across the education, leisure, civic and community sectors as well as design, architectural, and engineering services.

Contractors, who are accepted onto the framework, will be expected to bid for at least 70 per cent of the contracts for the first phase of the council’s programme - worth £88 million – to be completed by 2012.

Following the submission of pre-qualification documents by 6 August, between three and eight firms will be invited to tender in October.
