Carillion final report: MPs hammer corporate failings


Suppliers and the general public (who will pay for this in the end) have been failed here by many professional bodies - Accounting Firm - EY Auditors - KPMG (Auditors for 19 years - is there not a best practice for rotation of auditors?) Financial Reporting Council The Pensions Regulator Crown Representative National Audit Office "Two other committees of MPs considering public accounts and administration" and countless financial journalists and commentators, the media and no doubt many other entities that the public has a right to put their trust in to ensure that "recklessness, hubris and greed" are not allowed anywhere near public funds in the process of awarding government contracts paid for by taxpayers.
