University seeks partner for £60 million building programme

The University of Bedfordshire requires a contractor for a five-year framework agreement for design and construction work worth up to £60 million.

Building will take place mainly at its Luton Town Centre campus, but possibly also at a Bedford Campus, phased until 2016.

The university said it was seeking a partnership relationship for planning, design and contract management work with a mix of demolition, rebuilding and refurbishment work. It would require a single provider or consortium/joint venture arrangement.

The dead line for bids is 14 November, according to the contract notice. Between eight and 10 contractors will be invited to bid.
